2003 While my family was at a reunion, I decided to redo the living room. You guessed it, tissue paper again...what can I say, I was working at a place where there was a lot of the stuff in several colors. This time I tore the paper for a different feel, and crumpled the light color for more depth. I removed the gas heating unit because we never used it. I also ripped out the old mantle and built a new one. When I took the old, rotted, mantle out the bricks under it were not painted so I tried to strip the paint off the rest of the bricks, but it looked bad, so I painted it all white again. |
