About the Artist

A Brief Biography of Jennifer Guthrie, Graphic Designer

Born and raised in Louisville, KY. Accepted to the visual arts program at DuPont Manual Magnet High School, National School of Excellence.

Received a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design where I majored and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

During college breaks I worked at OTT communications as an intern. After college, I did some freelance work and then worked at Frances Meyer, Inc. for over 3 years. For the next 3 years I was at DecoArt serving as a graphic designer, marketing coordinator, and the unofficial video designer. I recently accepted a position as the sole designer at Pitman Creek Wholesale. I am in charge of all printed collateral, website updates, and creating a library for all graphic design materials.

I am upbeat, determined to excel while making a positive contribution, and known for getting along with all types of people. I work well independently or in a group. I am detail-oriented, have excellent organization skills, have formal training with standard industry programs, and can work in a Mac or PC environment.
