| Task: Film four basic brushstroke videos with Carol Sykes in four days. Choose one to finish as a test. The video disc is to ship with a booklet to be sold in craft stores. Booklet designed by Carol Sykes. Solution: We filmed and voiced for hours, and made certain we had all the parts necessary, including close-ups. Then I spent the next two or three weeks editing the audio, video, and DVD setup so my bosses and I are nearly happy with it. Result: A 90 minute video which details decorative painting flat brush techniques and cleaning procedures. The video is set up so the consumer can watch straight through, or skip to specific lessons. I even included a brief trivia game (at the moment it can only be accessed via a computer). |
